After causing some confusion a year or so ago and briefly reducing their active fleet to zero, two aircraft were put back into service
One went to Buffalo leaving G-LOFC as the sole Electra II in the UK...indeed this side of The Pond.
Tomorrow, Saturday 27th April, it leaves Coventry on delivery to Buffalo.
Only wrecks will linger on at Coventry, I guess not for too long either.
So if you happen to glance skywards, take a long look. It might well be you last sighting of the type or any four prop airliner in service.

That would be worth seeing, Garry.

Another sight and sound that will be missed by aviation enthusiasts in the UK.
