Just been looking at the very same clip. Shocking footage.
Truly awful to watch. RIP.

Very tragic
The Cargo shift was mentioned yesterday on a few forums, some posts from people who were there and involved.
I think one of the reasons for putting it out so strongly was that the rebels were claiming they had brought it down.

Saw the video from a CalClassic link before coming over here. Truly sad loss of life.
Also, there were also thunderstorms in the vicinity at the time of departure with a total wind shift that may have played a role -

Also, the departure out of Bagram requires a very steep climb-out which is definitely going to be a contributing factor even with a cargo shift as the aggressive nature of the climb may have aggravated any shift.

Re: B747-400F Down at Bagram
Some of the early posts by witnesses basically said that.
The aircraft climb was pretty well on limits for security so it wouldn't take much shift to put it in real danger and of course the shift would be more sudden and severe with such a high angle.
I sort of know have easy thing can shift is not strapped down for any reason.
On my first Ambulance flight they didn't strap me in properly and I short down the stretcher on the take off acceleration and then off the stretcher up to my thighs as we climbed out.

That is a tragic and distressing clip. There seemed to be quite a long period of inactivity in the the immediate aftermath although I suspect nothing could have been done to help those on board.R.I.P
