What a fascinating design, I've always liked it. There's one in the indoor display at Point Cook. SWMBO likes it too.
Would look pretty ugly if you were on the receiving end though!

Isn't it incredible?
While taxying at 30kt, the wings were wobbling like old fruit boxes. Seconds later, they are supporting lord knows what during manoeuvers.

BTW, for ugly, you can't beat the Short Seamew.
