Just A Bit Of Fun(2)

Post by Tomliner »

Just a few moreof what is it/whereis it? A clue in pics 1 and 2,the engine is by General Electric and they were taken in 1981.
The next three are from 1983.I don't think these three will give much trouble.

First two look likeA300 / A310 (not sure which). I know exactly what the next one is, but I can't bring myself to say it.

A couple of clues might help here.Pics 1 and 2 show a wide body a/c on a longhaul flight,pic2 taken shortly after 1.
The aircraft in pics 3 & 4 is heading for the location of pic5 and is a UK departure :) EricT

Very nice.... The first is I would say 24L (well it is now) on the North complex from LAX, that is Dockweiler beach you are about to cross with the El Segundo smoke stacks to the south and then the cities of Manhattan / Hermosa and then Redondo Beach.

The second is to the south after a left turn at the beach and is the Palos Verdes Pennisular, (Hollywood by the sea) which is often this time of year covered in the "June Gloom" which makes flying from my local airport Torrance "Zamperini" Field KTOA at the foot of it tricky without an IR rating. I think I can see my house in second shot! Lol

Great pics.

I'm very wrong with the 767 too, think the uglier of two similar designs ;)
