Agree with Sketchy 1 and 2 , 'tho didn't see view 1 as was looking seriously forward to make sure we cleared the sea wall . No 2 yes to Palo Verdes , great day out from Rolling Hills at Torrence to Catalina Island [ 1600 ft above sea level ].. Wot about a DC 10 in both ?
3 'n 4, wot about 737-200 .. over Essex 'n Africa ? Last a Connie , is that a Maltese Croos on tail ? so.. Malta GC ?

Spot on Dave. I've seen the Luga Connie on a.net. Not a massive DC10 fan, always thought the Tristar was a much better looking aircraft :)

More please Eric :D

Thanks for looking, hope you enjoyed them.
Sketchy and Dave were correct on 1 & 2.It' a DC10-30 of Laker climbing out of LAX bound for Manchester via Prestwick.
Pics 3 & 4 show are an Air Malta 737-200(sorry Ben!) after a 08 departure from Gatport Airwick bound for Luqa. In 3 what you see is the Isle Of Sheppey off the north Kent coast and 4 shows the town of Mostar on Malta.I thought the the dome might give a bit of a clue here.Regarding the Connie at Luqa, does anyone know anything about it? I presume it's no longer there, after all that was 30 years ago.
Many thanks for your kind comments Airboatr.
Thanks again for looking. :) EricT
ps. it's such a beautiful day that I'm wondering whether to get my bike out and try another ride to North Berwick. *-)

Eric,
You're having us on!
I was taken to a holiday chalet (called "South Seas") on the Isle of Sheppey when I was a kid. It did not look like your photo. :hide:
Cheers, Mike.
