Sea Lady

Post by dodger »

Hi,

Just thought i would share this model as i think it is one of the best i have seen, it's not often i would call anything a Masterpiece but this certainly is IMHO and the pics do not do it Justice!

The model is for Vehicle Simulator, it is Payware but for 5.50 Euro's £4.60 that's what i call a great price,

I like that, Roger. It's a lovely model. I guessed that BM must be Brixham, so I google-imaged (is that a real verb? ) 'BM28 Brixham' and found some photos of the real one. The model looks perfect except that it looks scruffier than in the photos. I expect nobody takes pictures of trawlers when they're in need of clean-up

Hi Ian,

Yes i know this is not the place for boats :hide: but being such a fine model i could not resist it as there may be others who share an interest, mind you it has been out for quite a while, it's just i bought it yesterday!

Your right about the photos but i do like a bit of Weathering and it is Brixham of course, i used to go down to the fish market early in the morning there and pick up a few fresh Mackerel and souse them in vinegar for breakfast back in the 60's alas nothing like it down there now, yes i know you can buy them in the supermarket but it's not the same as straight off the boat

I have the trouble of being a Flight/Train and Ship simmer but i enjoy them all so that's the main thing,

Yes Mike i remember the "Goons" very well, sign of the times i think.

Cheers,

Roger.

She looks lovely. Does anyone know if the format from Vehicle Simulator can be converted into FSX / P3D?

Hi Ben,

I don't know the answer to that i'm afraid but have a look at this site, you may already know of it.

Dave, yes i agree about the water but in those pics it was really about the boat.

Cheers,

Roger.

You obviously have a wide taste in sims Roger. The goons can still be heard on BBC Radio4 Extra,or at least that was so until very recently.Neddy Seagoon,Moriarty,Bluebottle,Eccles,Henry Crudd and his wife Min.Not that I listen to it of course.
BTW I notice that the boat in the sim has a rather rusty bottom.I know the feeling! :) EricT
