Just For Fun(Again)

Post by Tomliner »

At the risk of boring the pants of everone I thought I'd post these four pics to see if anyone identifies the location. The type is dead easy. They were taken in June 1991 on the last (short) leg of a flight from Heathrow to the US via a brief stop in Canada. From an earlier thread on this forum,it is fairly certain that our own Ian (Speedbird591) was cabin crew chief on this flight!

Later,if no-one minds,I would like to post some pics from or of aircraft which, like all of these ,are from slides.I would chose a few of the ones which I hope will be of interest either for the view or the subject matter and wouldn't all be from commercial aircraft. :) EricT

What post? :worried:

So - given the rare opportunity to experience the company of BA's greatest Cabin Service Director, only Eric would point his camera the wrong way and take pictures of winglets

 Only kidding! Brilliant pictures, Eric. Imagine that! I guess that's Boeing Field in the last shot and we're flying south on the downwind leg for a northbound landing at SeaTac? That would have been a very busy stage of the flight for me. Grabbing the beers out of the ice drawer and stuffing them in duty free bags ready to take off and maybe doing some tactical eating so that I didn't have to buy a meal on the ground  So much responsibility - I don't know how I did it

Ian :)

Hi Ian,yes it was Boeing field.I can't recall whether it was a downwind for 34 or a straight in for 16 and it seems like you were too busy looting to notice. EricT
