Just been 'Facebooked' (is that even a word!) a link to some behind the scenes pictures from the making of the film 'The Dambusters', (1955 film not the remake), in an article in todays MailOnline . They go very nicely with the large format production stills from Erwin Hillier, that were posted on here a couple of years ago. (Dec 1. 2009)

As an aside here,while I was in town today,I bought a copy of 'Dam Busters The Race To Smash The Dams',a new paperback by James Holland,who is an excellent writer.It was in Waterstones.However it will be a while before I get round to reading it.It was originally published in hardback last year.

Thanks for the HU i will have a look at that book,
If anyone is interested the original Dam Busters film is on Channel 5 this Saturday 18th May at 3.35 [15.35]
This Thursday May 16th will be 70yrs to the day the raid started.
