Re: Hi-tech lift
I've had similar conversations with parking meters and train ticket checking devices that are supposed to open the platform barrier.
Luckily, my computer refuses to acknowledge my voice, though I am assured that the microphone is working correctly.
The latest W7 update has brought back the black screen, followed by a message that the NVIDIA driver ceased to function, but has now recovered.
I promise you all that this computer would not want to hear me when that happens.
Oh, and Ben.......what's with the spell checker? Did you put that in, or is that part of the W7 update? He no like "rofl"...he no like "NVIDIA".....
Cheers, Mike.

Well, if it couldn't understand his Texas accent either, then I'm screwed. Mine's worse than his.
