One of Those(beautiful) Days

Post by Tomliner »

After a perfect summers day which involved coffee and food in town,a bowling match, which I lost,a couple of beers afterwards in the pub next door to the bowling green, and a Bite to eat when I got home,it was still too nice to sit inside so I grabbed the camera and took a short stroll of about 5 or 10 minutes from home and took these snaps about an hour ago. They are no great shakes photographically but I hope they might give a feeling of the peace in the dell of The Water Of Leith about 5 miles from the city centre. :) EricT

Oh, Eric, what a gorgeous area. You're so lucky to be surrounded by such idyllic countryside. With such beauty on your doorstep it must be a terrible wrench to get on the bike and cycle to other beautiful places

Imagine, every day, waking up to such a decision. Which beautiful place shall I visit today?

Thanks very much for posting the pictures.

Ian :)

I'm pleased that you liked them.If I went about 10/15 mins walk in the opposite direction it's not quite so scenic! It's not been quite as good weather today.Warm but cloudy in Edinburgh, but better over in Glasgow where we went to Apple store(iPads not fruit) because SWMBO decided to change to the iPad mini from the iPad2. :) EricT
