Eric
Did you notice my Kit has a similar look in it's eyes as the "cat" in your first photo?

Hi Joe,I see what you mean and they both look cool eh? My other two pics weren't so good but they were only chosen to show that you can still throw the background out of focus with the long zoom on a bridge camera.Anyway looking at your pics I don't think you need any lessons from me!BTW SWMBO wants to know the name of your adorable little cat. :) EricT

Hi Eric,

Yes they are two cool cats aren't they? ;)

I should tell you I thought all the pics were fine for all intent and purpose. The first one was note worthy for the reasons previously mentioned. I'm obliged to thank you again for taking the time to post them.

Now - being the obedient chap that I am..cough cough cough.. I will tell SWMBO the cats' name.
It's Kit.. you see when the kitten was born I just called it kitty. As time pasted and the kitten became a cat I thought I should give it a proper name, so I got really creative and shortened kitty - to Kit.

How's that? :worried:

And yes Kit was an adorable kitten

one of the things I find lacking in Bridge cameras is a lack of depth of field. reviewing my first post of the thread I said
airboatr wrote: The only thing lacking in the superzoom class is .. no bulb setting on shutter... and shallow Depth of field :|

chow
What I meant to say need more depth of field .. when doing marco or closeups.... most camera apertures in this class only close down to F/8 ... I need a smaller f stop that that....
sorry for the confusion :stupid:
