Hi Dennis,
Like you i'm retired and enjoying this morning, watching on Flightradar and on Airbus live feed and waiting to see the landing,
I do have this A350 on FSX by AFS-design so it is great to see the real aircraft at last! they are certainly putting the aircraft though it's paces for a first flight i think but that's todays technology.
Cheers,
Roger.

Very interesting. Learning how retired people fill their days
I can't get the hang of it yet. After cooking and eating my bacon and egg sandwich and loading the dishwasher, I followed the test flight while I was doing a bit of ironing. Now that's all over I have to watch the MotoGP practise on Eurosport. Then I'll have to read the mail which will take me to my afternoon nap.
Question: When do you find time to read the paper?

He absolutely greased it on, great landing for a first FOR type, let alone ON type.

I found it very strange on my last day at work driving out of the firms car park and thinking WOW ,no more coming in there!
Luckily i have my hobby which has kept my old grey matter from freezing up, i hear friends of mine who have now retired and they say they get bored mainly i think because they have no interest in anything, sure, i get a bit low at times like everyone else,
So you look after yourself and enjoy your retirement Ian,
Best Regards,
Roger.

Rush hours George? They last all day and most of the night in Surrey.

Lthough being compared to the 787 this is in a slightly different league.
However, on Thursday, the day before this flight, Boeing announced that they will formally launch the Boeing 787-10 at the Paris Air Show.
Seen as a direct competitor to the A.350, BA is down for eighteen. Interesting as they have an order for A.350 aswell.

I'd say all Airbus need is one more 787 battery fire to have the market sewn up.
