Well a Stewardess told me that definition way back before Credit Cards...Most people had a chequebook then :lol:

Well a Stewardess told me that definition way back before Credit Cards...Most people had a chequebook then
I was that poorly paid in them days before credit cards I did not need a cheque book, did not have enough money left over to open an account!!! :'(
