Superb Junkers Ju-52 r/c model

Post by TobyV »

Didn't think you were allowed to fly any r/c model at over 25kg, but who cares, this looks and sounds brilliant (and not like a wobbly vacuum cleaning whizzing round the sky!)

That's a lovely model and it sounds great too. Only thing I find with this sort of thing is they always fly faster than scale if that makes sense. You can get away with it on a fighter or a jet but that Ju52 probably flies as fast as the real thing  A belter though ;)

Where did you get the 25kg limit from Toby? Most of the models on that page must be well over that. *-)

Love the JU52. Thanks for posting the link.

I saw this the other day http://www.liveleak.com/view?i=c52_1376709318

This one is incredible, but perhaps a little over the top.

It was 20kg and you require an exemption.

Yes indeed..

25kg isn't a UK stipulation and in any case.. these only apply if flying above 400ft :) How you know you're flying at or above 400ft is up to you :worried:
