Here's something to ponder........

A lad I know recently moved house and had to change his GP.

After a couple of visits and some exhaustive lab tests, his new GP told him that he was doing 'fairly well' for his age. (He’d just reached 65).

A little concerned about that comment, my mate couldn't resist asking him, 'Do you think I'll live to see 90?'

The GP asked, 'Do you smoke tobacco, or drink beer, wine or hard liquor?’

'Oh not much grog these days and I don't smoke or do drugs either' he replied.

Then the GP asked, 'Do you eat rib-eye steaks, fatty roasts and barbecued ribs?

'Not much.... My former doctor said that all red meat is very unhealthy!'

'Do you spend a lot of time in the sun, like playing golf, boating, sailing, surfing, hiking, or bicycling?'

'No, I don't,' was the reply.

He asked, 'Do you gamble, drive fast cars, or have a lots of sex?'

'Absolutely not’ he said...

The doctor looked at him and said,.. 'Then, why the hell do you want to live to see 90?’
