Four Bladed Islanders
Aurigny refitted three bladed props on the Trisplander wing engines only to reduce noise.
This however is a new on on me

Re: Four Bladed Islanders
Difficult with the type I know.
Yes the Trislander were fitted with three bladed to get the same power at a lower RPM and get the tip speed further away from near supersonic speed where a lot of the noise occurs.
Not that effective as the #2 still as the two bladed and does quite well on it's own.
Interesting to know how these Islander sound.

Depends on if the engines are still warm from the last leg or not.

Re: Four Bladed Islanders
The Trislander start and go with no warm up even if thgey've been stand arround for hours.
just first thing when put onto the pan they do a high power check. After that it's turn the key and drive off.
