Judging by the way things are going you'd think I was on Boris Island. Day 2 and four sorties later the fruits of my labor searching for Ark Royal are one oil tanker, an American Destroyer, numerous pleasure craft, and a French carrier! :wall: A French carrier! These waters are infested I tell ya!! I'm beginning to think Ark Royal has made for the open sea and sailed south for the relative safety of Canadian waters. :dunno:

Victorious 66 has been released

It's not on their main page yet so you'll have to navigate to the Forums/Dry Dock to get it ;)

In the absence of a dedicated set of tracks for Victorious.. I'm going to try AICarriers for the first time. Can anyone advise how I do it please? :worried: I've installed the program and note there's a conf.d folder. Do I add the details from the Victorious install folder to the file in conf.d *-)

EDIT: Tried that and it worked a treat. Not sure how to get them all moving yet :worried:

If you press shift-j again it should bring up a dialogue to get them moving/change direction

Cheers Rich

I went to use this ages ago but when I found it needed the dreaded 'Java'.. I left well alone  Unfortunately, so many of these little utilities now require Java, I found no option but to install it. 8)

After a fortnight of farting around with ES scenery, I decided to take the lot off last night and am attempting to get FSX back to a pre-ES install so I can start over again. Removing the scenery removed Treescapes in it's entirety too which was a shock :-O I have a set of unmolested Autogen files from Keith and the ES install slog is moving. I've successfully (I hope) installed Treescapes 1, 2 and 3 again (even though I didn't uninstall them!!!) so no time to fiddle with ship tracks at the mo. So far, so good with AIC anyway ;)

I notice the radars on Ajax (didn't check the other frigate) don't rotate until you get close to them and I ran into an invisible object abaft the main mast but regardless.. they look darned good

Join the club!

Now you can explain to us non-Navy types exactly how to do it (set it up with AI Carriers) :agree:

PS - Thanks, Skippy
