Caution.. this thread contains Sea Vixens!
Hi chappies
The latest Flying Stations releases have forced me to re-acquaint myself with the delicious Skysim Sea Vixen.. not that I'm in any way un-acquainted with it as I fly this fast jet more than any in FSX. For this exercise, I teamed up with John Youngs AI Sea Vixens.. sadly FAW2's which feature Ark Royal's squadron but they did for the photo call

Ark Royal IV, Green Rover and Newcastle were actually in Falmouth Bay so pretend the JY models came from Ark

Great pics Dave, but 899 were based on Eagle...

You're right of course Rich. Should've gone to Specsavers
Ark IV is the closest we have to Eagle.. unless of course those fine folk at FS are keeping something close to their chests

Thanks Colin. I do enjoy flying formation with the Vixens (though I'm not sure they're so keen on flying with me)

Nice shots - and a couple of outstanding ones!
I flew the Skysim Vixen a couple of years ago (back when I had spare time... ), it was just fantastic. I remember my wife came in the room and even she stood and watched me doing some basic aerobatics over Yeovilton and was 'wow'-ing along with me!
Then my brother just bought me the Airfix 1/48 model for my last birthday. I haven't started it yet, because I'm determined to make a decent job and do it justice.
Fantastic aircraft

Great pics, Dave. I must try this carrier thing out. I haven't got the Skysim Sea Vixen, but I suppose the Razbam A-7 Corsair would be suitable to start with. Haven't looked it up, but I'm pretty sure the Corsair and HMS Victorious were in service at the same time. I'll put it on my list of sim things to do.
