FTX Trees

Post by Nigel H-J »

Just been across to FTX site and seen that they have released global trees for FSX, FTX, P3Dv1, and P3Dv2.

Looking at the screen shots this is one add-on that I am going to have to have especially as it is only £11.84 at the moment. It is also stated that FPS is not affected!

Thanks Nigel.
Screen shots look good.
Did you see the maps for "Global" coverage?
"America"= West coast USA; "Europe"= UK; "Oceania"= Australia & NZ. *-)

Actually suits me OK, but some won't get much joy.

I'v had FTX Trees for a few weeks, and no FPS hit at all, as far as I can tell. They look a lot better too. :)

Mike, although I have all the Orbx regions except Norway, I've yet to install any of them in P3DV2.5 - I've been distracted by other activities since I upgraded to 2.5. However, I do have Orbx Global installed, which is also enhanced by FTX Trees. Today I'll reinstall Port Moresby which, as you know, is a scenery add-on specifically for Global. Being in the tropics, it will show off the new trees to full effect. Have a look at the comparison screenshots on the product page to get an idea of the improvement.

I wood say that FTX trees is well worth the small cost. ;)

Going through those screenshots is very impressive...They are easily the best trees I have ever seen in a flight sim and will no framerate hit and that low price, I would say they are an absolute must for anyone that uses that sim :agree:
