My heads still spinning after that Peter and it's not down to the aerobatics either!! There was hardly if any change of expression on her face as she put that a/c through those manoeuvres. A very capable pilot to be sure.

Thanks for posting that, apart from her I really enjoyed watching how she carried out those manoeuvres.

Regards
Nigel.

Cheers Peter.

When I saw it was 123MB
I very nearly didn't download it.

Wow !
Excellent !!!

A refreshingly different perspective.

I'd love to see same
with 3 axis G-meter readouts.

I was surprised how aggressively positive
she had to be with the stick,
and the extent of travel required.

Now feel justified over the demise of my 3.

I've never felt so frustrated....... died so frequently/spectacularly/or needlessly....... yet had so much fun, in a long time.

Hi Peter

It's Svetlana Kapanina

Image

The first time I saw her was back in 06 I think in this video at a Japan airshow.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E_d1uRL ... detailpage

I rather like the way her chest heaves after rotating from an inverted pass, when she's pulling back on the stick. 1:40

and this one at 2min 30 sec. .. her eyes .. , very very fast scanning up down
https://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=p ... SD4UpUmLoQ

outstanding skill, and not a bad looker either ;)

Miserable looking, what's her problem?
Maybe her internet was slow like mine, and kept stopping every 5 seconds?
Cheers, Mike.
