A few years ago, not so far from you but actually in NSW, I met a man driving a 1928 Model A ute , which had been his grandfather's and which had been in the family from new . It was very largely original apart from a new cover for the back, and was in remarkable condition
Not quite up to the standard of Mike's but for those whom Chris has made curious, here's a Ford ute. This one is on Norfolk Island (taken in 2009) and would have been brought ashore in a rowing boat, as there's no port on the island.
