Old sailors never die.. they just smell that way!
Re: I Name This Ship
Could be worse ! As it's really a ship, not a boat, it could be Shippy McShipface.

Re: I Name This Ship
I did like the idea of 'Usain Boat'
The whole thing reminds me of many years back, British Airways Birmingham running a competition for names for it fleet of planes. The theme was Shakespearian characters, with 'Bottom' being by far the most popular. Strangely, no aircraft was named 'Bottom'

I like DaveM's version. It wouldn't take much dragging down into the gutter

It's no worse than HMS Cockchafer.

She was a gunboat on the Yangtze, so maybe the name is a reference to the humidity and Chinese laundry.

Re: I Name This Ship
It used to be a serious affair naming a ship, just proves what a bunch of morons the younger generation have become,
sorry guys but I didn't find anything amusing in that report, just made me angry at the lack of respect.

Re: I Name This Ship
Why not call the ship " Endeavour", we had the old ship James Cook. one of if not the best explorer we have ever had.
All this Cra== with these names i do not think they are funny at all but then i'm a Grump Old B.
What i think is Immaterial anyway, it's just how i feel about it.

Better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to speak out and remove all doubt.
