Flying to Work.

Post by Nigel H-J »

Came across this video on You Tube, thought it might interest a few.

The take-off of the Queen's Flight HS748 surprised me as the gear was raised just after becoming airborne. :-O A bit earlier than I would have done even with Rick's 748!

Some really classic aircraft shown.

Thanks Nigel.
Quite something for 1964.
Would still be rather special in 2016, eh, what?
Cheers, Mike.

Thanks for posting that Nigel .I used to love those Look At Life films. They always seemed so upbeat and positive.
Some of them were rerun not long by BBC4 under the title of Britain On Film. :) EricT

My father used his Proctor ( bought in 1949) for travelling on work business between Blackbushe & e.g.to Bristol to attend meetings related to Hercules engine life extensions on Viking aircraft. His Bosses also used it for their business meetings.
