I use my joystick twist grip for rudder control but when opening up the throttles on starting my take-off run I always find that even with the tail wheel sat on the runway the a/c tends to wander at low speed so have to use rudder or throttles to correct, now I don't bother to lock the tailwheel as it doesn't appear to help much. However, that is only a minor niggle.
Looking forward to your next flight Peter.
Regards
Nigel.

Re: Alice to Darwin...
I have a ch products rudder pedals that I have not used since I switched from desktop to laptop, never had a problem with them. At the time I bought them they were the only ones available so I can't compare them to any others.
