New Year Question

Post by Nigel H-J »

As I write there is 7hrs plus the extra second for the New Year to come in so what are you doing? Will you be at a party or maybe just having a quiet drink at home to see it in or even attend a public social event? Or like me........Go to bed!!

Call me a grumpy old git but quite honestly I am just happy to get a good nights sleep providing the fireworks don't wake me up and keep me awake until the silly hour of the morning! :wall:

Happy New Year in advance.

Regards
Nigel.
I used to be an optimist but with age I am now a grumpy old pessimist.

We will go to bed at our normal time. We are going to a Basset Hound walk tomorrow so I have to be sober to drive. It is enjoyable walking with 40 or more hounds and their servants pretending to be their owners. Happy New Year to One and All!

Well I will watch the New Year in on tv as living in the country now with all the farm animals around it tends to lack Fireworks [thank goodness] .

All the Best .

For us, not much. We had been planning on going over to a friends house but they canceled earlier today, so we have no plans now.

Just got in and and dinner on the bubble. One daughter is celebrating in London, the other one in Reykjavik, so for me this year - a pint ( or two ) of Fuller's London Pride and one of Michael Portillo's Great British Railway Journeys on DVD. At midnight, I'll toast the New Year with a dram ( or two ) of Oban Directors malt. Happy New Year all.

Happy New Year everyone! Staying home - don't like contending with all the drunks on the road so I guess I will watch the Times Square ball drop on the telly and have a glass of something to drink.

I was going to stay home, but changed my mind.
I'm in the city centre with friends and a whole lot of Strangers.. some of which are really strange :worried:

Happy New Year one and all.

Well I'm glad at least one of us went out and did the New Year thing. Great photos, Joe. :)
