When do any of us do that? If we didn't want to run the software, we'd not have bought it in the first place

Thing is, with much of this stuff.. while you may have bought it, it can still technically NOT be yours like say.. half a dozen eggs or a couple of pork chops might be I think this applies to most things which require online activation/registration. You're buying a license to use the software.. that's pretty much it.

It's a battle ground out there
