Speed penalty

Post by adysmith »

NO WAY did I exceed 250 KIAS below FL100 on that flight from EGLL to LXGB.
I may have had a bounce and had a flap/gear exceedance as the speed rocketed in a climb (!) but I kept it below 210.

Disgruntled.

Hi mate,

With you on that, if you look at Blackbox on FSAirlines then I would have expected to see a spike on the speed curve. To then lose 101 Kt in 30 seconds doesn't make much sense either.

Could be worth submitting a ticket and seeing what happens.

Not sure how I check the black box, or how to raise a ticket.

In FSA, go to the Crew Centre, where it shows the last 5 flights, click on show all.
Select the little blue circle with the I in it next to your flight and it will show a summary screen for the flight.
At the top RH corner under OPTIONS there is a link to 'Blackbox' this will give you a graph of the flight.
Under the same list you can also select 'Flight Needs review' and enter your reasons there.

Hope this helps

you should try the beta client, it has some fixes in it to prevent the penalties that happen on wind change spikes.
