Roger Moore died today

Post by airboatr »

.. I liked him as 007 a bit more than Connery.
Well , that's it. Condolences to his family.

Yup.. my daughter sent me a dit on Whatsapp (we're all 007 fans). I was never a HUGE fan of him as 007 but loved him as Simon Templar in The Saint which, incidentally, I still watch on ITV4 whenever it's on. I also watch him in The Persuaders with Tony Curtis. They're a bit 'tongue in cheek' these days but what the heck ;)

A shame he's gone.

Roger Moore was always my favorite Bond also, yes he was a bit campy but who cares.
Happy Flying Roger!

Well, I always liked Sean more but enjoyed Roger's less serious interpretation. He did a lot of work with charities after his Bond stint. R.I.P. Roger after a good innings.
