Thanks Andy

EDIT: There is no sign of a discount for previous F3/F6 customers.

Yes there is although I missed it. When you go to the product page, open the tab for "Upgrade-Service". There you will find details on how to get a discount if you have the other versions.

Admittedly, I missed it entirely. I think it is poorly labeled and not obvious which is why I'm letting you know.

Can we split the difference in savings??

Fairy snuff

EDIT: Are you talking JustFlight WH? I've seen the upgrade option at Aerosoft but I can't see an upgrade path at JF. It's not at FSPS yet.

Ahh.. I was referring to the Aerosoft site.

I've developed the habit of purchasing my products directly from the developers site for quicker update notices and downloads. JF products from JF, Aerosoft products from Aerosoft, etc.

Andy,
That's a mean looking machine...can you handle it all?

I got sucked in and d/l the F4E enhancement "topic hijacker", which is now installed.
May even look at that Lightning!

Maybe not, which is why a two-seater is good! Thing is, to fully utilise such a thing you need someone to come along for the ride with you and unless the Lightning can be adapted for FSFlyingSchool (?) that means multiplayer (MP). The same goes for DaveG's two-seat Hunters, Flying Station's Buccaneer, the Iris Vulcan etc. Trouble is, finding someone with the same sim, same aircraft, with the same interest in MP, in the same time zone (approximately), with time to spare at the same time as oneself, is a mighty big ask... I've only even pulled it off a couple of times (and that was years ago)... :(

A word of warning.. keep your finger near the 'flight refuel' switch at all times

The rear half of the paint takes quite a while to draw. Not bad initially but as my short flight continued, up went the draw times. No idea if all the paints are like this. A 4gig card obviously isn't enough! :(

Not tried any of the TP functions on it and doubt I will as my rig is perilously close to death without TP loaded!

Still can't find the nav lights but in this one short flight.. I ran out of gas before I reached anywhere I wanted to go :-O I know how to in-flight refuel and do relights  Landed at Filton (from Culdrose) while I was ahead :cpu:

Cheers WH. I thought the stick might be hiding it and was forced to RTFM  Not seen anything on overwing tanks yet though I've only sped through to be honest. Just flown the all green 'Y' paint and that one redraws ok in external view. Must be something with the natural metal finish slowing things down *-)

It sure is a lovely model

BTW.. I sat for a moment while doing ccts at Leconfield and watched the ventral tank gauge. You can see it dropping before your eyes
