Hmm.. the CD version of FSX:SE is handy. I don't have SE but this would be easier than trying to download it!!

You would still have to download it Dave. All you'd get on the disc would be the steam install prog and a licence key for SE.
Fallen for that before with another prog. 8)

Thanks for the heads up, I picked up Treescapes for about £6!

Does anyone know if VFR X scenery was ever released for Scotland central? I have the southern Scotland, had a look on eBay for northern Scotland (and nearly died as its £30 second hand) but there doesn't seem to be anything for the bit it the middle. What happened with the VFR scenery products anyway?

Hmm.. that's not what the description says but I'm happy to take your word for it. Never fiddled with steam so that's one thing I've never been stung with

I'm not sure whether it was released but since I was a beta tester, I do have it.

If it IS as described.. that's not a bad deal for a brand new version. If Lockheed Martin did the same, I'd give P3D a go :cpu:

I have never had any problems with steam. It installs painlessly and you will probably pay less than these guys are charging.

Thanks for that info George. I did see a Volume 7 review, so guessed it had been release in some capacity, but perhaps briefly. I'll keep an eye out for it and pick up Volume 6 on ebay or similar. Its a shame they are no more as the VFR scenery was great.
