As for the 146 - I understand it's to be the test bed for a collaborative effort on a new all electric engine. Interesting stuff - I'd love to see the size of the battery. I suspect that the engine will have a dual use of thrust and battery recharge depending on flight mode.

They might also install solar panels on top of the wings and top fuselage to keep the food and hot drinks going.....now wouldn't that be something!!
