Thank You Mrs. FlyTexas

Post by FlyTexas »

It seems Mrs. FlyTexas has been doing a little shopping behind my back. :-O I'll forgive her this time. Here's what she picked up for me. B-)

The Saturn V model stands a full one meter in height. B-) When completed it will be displayed alongside my Lego Mini Cooper. I've read that the Saturn V rocket flew a whopping 7 inches for every gallon of fuel used. I suspect a Mini Cooper gets better mileage.

My youngest daughter's boyfriend got one around Thanksgiving last year and apparently it is quite impressive when it's all put together.

I remember building the Airfix model as a kid and that was over 1m tall too.

Yes I noticed that too. When they take off, the bottom catches fire.

I'm actually surprised the box doesn't have a disclaimer stating "Model does not actually fly." It's probably just a matter of time before some yo-yo tries to sue Lego.
