Sorry David but while you are on this thread, Joe (above) referred to Bristol - Heathrow as being now a TR rating route, for the Constellations, but I don't see that listed under training routes (or the Coni either for that matter). My fat fingers perhaps, but there you have it. Maybe takes a while for these things to go through
thank you
Jim

Re: Registration Fleets
The one from bristol to to heathrow is just temporary. Until we move the aircraft it can serve double duty, once there moved it will be removed, no need to add it to the perminate record.

Interesting, well that is at least a reason to hang onto them.

Excellent, I started moving the laste L-049 from Karachi and am currently in Cairo. But I will be there for at least a week as at this very moment I am in a United 777-200 on my way from KSFO to PHNL

Re: Registration Fleets
Hi Joe,
Sorry for not being around lately. New job curtailed all of my sim activities, then retirement and now health issues..... one day I will return. re these 'oddball' fleets, they were the cheapest aircraft we could buy at the time to 'reserve' authentic registrations for potential future aircraft type acquisitions. Can't remember all of the types but one springs to mind.... the ATP. It was a just in case as we always run with correct authentic registrations for each type.
Hope that explains things.
Regards
John

Re: Registration Fleets
Hi John, Good to hear from you again! We are very much hoping for your return and hope you resolve your health issues soon.
David M thought they were holding registration number and as such we have left them as is.
