We went to Ballarat today.
I pointed to a sign in the shop, and asked: "How much?"
He said: "Ten dollars."
I said; "Ten dollars! Once you've seen one, surely you've seen them all?"
The sign read: "Watch batteries replaced."

Quite right Mike, glad you told him straight. Much the same with a sign I saw saying 'Watch Straps For Sale'. I mean, what's the point? Have some folks got nothing better to do? EricT
Now at the age where I know I like girls but can't remember why!

Oh come on, Mike - surely that's entertainment in the Outback, isn't it ?

Eric, I'm glad to see that you share my view.
Joe, if you don't buy it, you won't get one!
Outback!? I'll have you know that we're only fifty kilometers out of Ballarat, and some of their buildings exceed one storey!

Re: Worth watching? No!
When I moved to Queensland, before I realised the New England Hwy was the better route, I used the coastal Pacific Hwy. Approaching the NSW -Qld border, there is a little town called Murwillumbah. On the way in, there was a hand-made cardboard sign, on a light pole, saying "Local Honey 200m". I looked and I looked but I have never seen her yet. Maybe it was just too early in the morning
