Just got me a new laptop, last one died a few months ago (just when my flying became significantly less frequent ).
Installed FSX Gold in C:\fsx, installed FSUIPC, installed fstramp (v5.6) in c:\fstramp.
FSX working fine, FSUIPC recognised, but cannot launch FSTramp. CTRL+F12 doesn't work, no entry for it under ADD ONS in menu bar.
Any ideas?
I have checked the relevant entries in DLL.XML and FSX.CFG; all appear ok but still can't launch FSTramp.

FSX/FSTranp problem
Old pilots never die, they just run out of runway.
Re: FSX/FSTranp problem
Hi Ade
I'm not a user of Fs Tramp so not much help
It looks like it runs as a module within fsx so you are unable to check stanalone. Try deleting fsx.cfg, and on rebuilding, see if it asks to accept as a trusted add-on. Maybe the installer needs pointing to the sim, it could be looking for fsx in program files 86/ Microsoft games

Re: FSX/FSTranp problem
Running FSX first time after installing it did ask for it to be accepted as trusted, and created the relevant entry in fsx.cfg.
I will try that and also try redownloading the installer just in case it is corrupt.
