Getting used to flying helicopters again.

Post by Nigel H-J »

Purchased Orbx Barton Airfield for X Plane 11 and decided to get my hand in on the newly updated Bell 429.

Great helicopter to fly and also to hover (once you get the hang of it)

Night flight over a motorway but cannot remember which one :$ saw blue lights flashing ahead of me so got low down to take a closer look. Traffic Police being kept busy as usual and thought of Paul now having his PPL, will he try for helicopters next?

Hi Steve, I thought that before I got closer then saw that the lane he was in was on the correct side but had concrete barriers either side of him. If you look closely at the headlight beams you can see both sides of the barrier.

Must be a new development by the Highways Agency to allow emergency vehicles quicker access to incidents.

In that case it really isn't accurate as I am only a couple of miles from there.
I think put it down to artistic license.

Just had a thought (though took me a long time to think about it), the single carriageway for that traffic car and that is I have Ortho XP installed as well as X-Europe along with Orbx Barton so somewhere along the line something is causing this strange single carriageway! *-)

Am waiting for True Earth UK to be released then will take out X Europe and Ortho 4 XP and think that this will solve the problem.

Nigel.
