Real 737 Flight Simulator

Post by JohnD »

Today I had a return visit for a 90 min. “flight” at Virtual Flight Expirience.

First flight was Gatwick to Jersey with a full stop landing followed by a reset and a flight from Chep Lap
Kok to Kai Tak. This was a touch and go followed by full stop landing. The second landing was accompanied by fireworks above the hotels opposite. A great experience using the checkerboard and curved approach.

The Jersey flight included programming the FMC. Although some of the flight could have by autopilot I elected to do it manually with autopilot on for a few minutes to get stabilised at the TOC.

A great idea for an Xmas or birthday present.
Here is a link to their website if anyone is interest.

Looks fun, shame I don't still live in Rugby, wouldn't have been too far to drive to.

Great fun. I did the ex RAF F4 full motion simulator here http://www.realsimulation.co.uk/ In 2001. It was a 50th birthday pressy from wifey. They also have the 737.
Steve.
