There's a rather unique spaceship for FSX over at Sim-Outhouse. It appears to be crewed by a human, a Big Foot, and a blue and white trash can. Big Foot growls, grunts, and groans. The trash can guy pops, squeaks, and squawks. The spaceship has a really nice interior. Comes with a beautiful 2D panel (seen below), but you can also use the VC. Re: Strange Spaceship at Sim-Outhouse
I'm always in two minds about Star Wars/Flightsim crossovers. Don't get me wrong, I absolutely love Star Wars, but there's always been something strangely disconcerting about flying something from a galaxy far, far away out of Newcastle Airport. Kind of takes the fantasy away... Anyway, it does look good so maybe I'll give it a try anyway! Thanks for posting
Re: Strange Spaceship at Sim-Outhouse
The developer did try to address the issue of flying the Millennium Falcon from a busy airport. He included a scenery object (Docking Bay 94) to give you the feel that you're on Tatooine...even though you're actually in the US state of Nevada.

Re: Strange Spaceship at Sim-Outhouse
Just downloaded and had a go. Definitely one of the better Star Wars ships to be featured in FSX. Great graphics and full of atmosphere, I love the sounds and the little touches like R2-D2 'complaining' when you throw it around! Unfortunately the handling really annoyed me. I cut the engines at 6,000ft, engaged vertical mode and just hung there! I did love the inclusion of Docking Bay 94, although I'll have to go back in my Bell 47 as there's no way I'll get the Falcon in there...
