Information About Historic Jets For Island of Tasmania

Post by Aharon »

Shalom and greetings all my pals,

For first time, I have decided to take plunge into the world of Orbx by buying few payware Orbx airport sceneries and getting few freeware Orbx sceneries.

This include payware YMML Melbourne airport scenery and freeware ground textures for entire island of Tasmania that includes freeware YMLT Launceston airport.

Now I have a question, please.

Does anybody know what airlines and historic jet planes served for not only flights from Australia to any airport in the island of Tasmania but also for flights within the island of Tasmania?

Would love to recreate real world historic jet flights from Australia to the island and within island of Tasmania.

Thank you for any answers any of you might offer.

Regards,

Aharon

A great source of information on old routes can be found at a site called 'Time Table Images'

Hopefully you will be able to find one of the era your looking for.

Glad you finally took the ORBX plunge.

The last time I travelled Melbourne-Launceston it was on Jetstar which is a Quantas lowcost subsidiary. In the past I think Ansett and Trans Australia Airlines will have operated . Because of the wild nature of the terrain there are not that many commercial services in Tas, Launceston and Hobart being the most used fields

Aharon,

Another option is to see what has been photographed there:
