According to one paper today, Ryanair which has 200+ Boeing 737max on order is rebranding them. It is calling them 737-8200s.

According to last night's Brian Cox Stargazing episode, Boeing have a multi billion contract to build space capsules that are supposedly good for 9 round trips to the ISS.
They showed two of the three under construction.
I hope they are doing a better job than they did on the "max"

Is that a super-stretched Boeing 737-200? That would get around the 737 MAX engine/ground clearance problems and also the 'pitch up' effect of the bigger, higher forward mounted engines.
The B737-200 was always my favourite B737 - I flew on several with Britannia Airways.
I still remember the anouncement 'after landing, there will be an incrrease in engine noise. This is reverse thrust and is perfeclty normal for this aircraft type'. I can also remember looking out of the window and watching those clamshell doors operate

It will be interesting to see if Ben lets us know which is his favourite 737 type. EricTThe B737-200 was always my favourite B737 - I flew on several with Britannia Airways.
