I think of DB and our other friends who have passed on often, :)
continually thankful for having the pleasure of knowing them.
.....I Heard Israel Kamakawiwoʻole's, Over the Rainbow recently on the web and thought of Leif.

Too many gone far too early in life..

PS.
I think of you all daily of course.. .. giving thought for your well being

Amen to that, Joe. When I think of Dave my thoughts always include Leif, Garry, Ian, and our other CBFS brothers who have left us. Bless 'em all.

I must get down to Brooklands, and sit on Dave. Just wish I'd gone down there when he was still around.

As with Dave............Leif, Garry and Ian were all taken too soon,Garry always had the knack of those wonderful one liners that cracked me up and I had many enjoyable hours when speaking to him on Skype, I even got a tour of his back garden, the very first time I spoke to him along with video he sat there in front of his camera with a brown paper bag over his head to hide his face, he was typically a very funny and endearing person.

Regards
Nigel.

I remember long Skype conversations (typed and audio) with Garry too. Always a lot of fun and still missed to this day.

Not the best of shots, but here's Dave in the cockpit of the Brooklands Vanguard during an engine run back in 2008.
