A few quick touch and goes on runway 27 East Midlands using (for the very first time) real weather and Pilot2ATC though still having to get used to the terminology which appears to differ quite a bit from spoken ATC here in the UK.
On my final turn found that I had slipped slightly to the right of the centre line but my excuse is............there was a bit of a cross wind!!

Hi Nigel,
Foul weather indeed!
I have a real photo of a Piper Cherokee flight we did out of Point Cook. I was glad that our pilot knew his stuff.

Thanks Mike, Always best to hire a pilot who knows enough to take-off - navigate and land.
The screen shot looks pretty grim but the real weather had visibility to around 4 miles with low cloud so does not really do justice to X-Plane 11, I quite like flying in real time weather now and will be interesting to fly when we have one of those really bad gusty windy days and see how it compares in the sim.
