One pleasurable night in the Netherlands.
Myself and the future Mrs Bravo headed over to Amsterdam on Monday before driving south to Hoogerheide near Woensdrecht Air Base. 200 Euro later and we had a brilliant night with an old girl.
Back in the day as TC-TEK...
and now as PH-FCX...
It was all part of a superb few days, firstly on my Stag do in Antwerp from Friday to Sunday...
before then returning home (during Storm Dennis!) and heading to Amsterdam on Monday with easyJet. Our plans had changed, so upon collecting the hire car we headed to Aviation Megastore, south to Hoogerheide and then north to the Aviodrome in Lelystad...

I used to be an optimist but with age I am now a grumpy old pessimist.

Not sure if I'd sleep well with a Cockpit Voice Recorder in my bedroom. That must have been a fantastic experience.

Well I've flown Air Antwerp, I've visited the museum at Lelystad, but I've not been to that shop, nor stayed in the F27, the €200/nt price tag put me off. You missed one thing (although not possible this time of year) and that's a visit to PS Aero in Baarlo (I haven't been either yet, but there's another F27, a Caravelle, the front of a Dassault Mercure and many others)
Looks a fun trip and nice photos!
