Yup another one.
Got a email yesterday telling me that our TV licence was about to expire and I should renew immediately to stay within the law. There was the offer of a direct access to the Licencing site where with "a few keystrokes" I could pay for my new licence. The message contained enough to make it look genuine but I checked our licence and it is nowhere near due for renewal.
Then I checked the actual message again and began to wonder - since when do we in the UK use the American style of date presentation?
Another try to get at our hard earned.

I used to be an optimist but with age I am now a grumpy old pessimist.

As Nigel said in another post, I hope the scum that do this sort of thing get a severe dose of the virus. EricT

Re: TV LICENCE SCAM
Just received another "reminder". Same message with the 'Renew Now' box.
So they are still out there fishing for our wallets

Re: TV LICENCE SCAM
I always thought the TV license scam was where you paid £157 for a year of utter dross.
