I've got the ACG packages installed and running and have the "Day" sound MP3,but how the dickens do you get the sound to
work so that once parked, you can hear crowd voices, flybys, twittering birds, all the ambient external sounds at an airshow?
The "readme"mentions the original Fs2004 "day" sound(can't find it,not in the sounds folder) and the sounds .exe(can't find that either)
and that the sound will work through FSUIPC(got that too)
Any ideas?

Not sure that FS2004 can read mp3, it is always wave files for the aircraft sounds.

That's what I always thought Nev.
There are MP3 to wav. converters out there.
Could a wav.file be made to run as an ambient sound rather than a pure "aircraft sound and just at one location though?

I think you need to add an fx file plus controller file via xml into both the effects and sound folders. Sound files must always be wav.

Okay,so I've converted the soundset to from MP3 to .WAV.
So the next question is how do I make it work?
Does it need to be treated like an aircraft sound?,i.e it has a "trigger" to turn it on and off again so that it
works with just the Airshow Add-on?
How can it be done?
