Being a no birthday kind of day, I tried to upload another challenge this morning.
While the update to my site was being confirmed, my computer decided to shut down.
This left my saved copy invalid, and no new image.
I'm waiting to see if my web host can help me download the latest copy,
otherwise I'll have to go back to my last backup, losing 4 days' updates. :|

I'm a bit surprised at Airspeed calling the Wellesley a sad design : didn't the flight shown in the photo circle Mt Everest for the first time, and didn't a solo Wellesley establish the world altitude record at close to 40,000 feet ? Or am I thinking of something else ?

Edit : yes I am wrong . The Everest flight funded by Lady Houston was in Westlands , ?? Wapitis, and the Altitude record was a Bristol 138

I was referring to its appearance, Chris; a quite ugly aircraft.
Perhaps my grammar could have been better.
EDIT: though reading back, I DID say "a sad looking design"

They set a 7000 mile long range record for a single piston engine aircraft. (Wiki)

No matter what its performance was, it's still ugly.

Turns out that the image did upload, it just wrecked my copy when it shut down.
Here's the missing challenge, for an embroidered badge:
