Sign language?

Post by Airspeed »

We've just got home after waiting 3 hours for Mrs A to see the eye specialist at Ballarat Base Hospital. :wall: :wall:
I could not help noticing, about 5,000 times, the signs around the place:
Please stand behind the line.-Bright coloured tape on floor. :agree:
Please wait here.-Disc on floor showing two feet, where to stand 1.5 metres apart. :agree:
Pair of rubbing hands.-Hand washing station with sanitising pump. :agree:
Exit.- Person running out of door. :agree:
Then there was a door with a sign showing a man, a woman, and a wheelchair.- they were standing there doing.... NOTHING! For goodness sake, what was THAT supposed to mean? :dunno:

The one that amuses me is on the waiting room door of the Scarborough Road park & ride bus station.

"AUTOMATIC DOOR - PUSH BUTTON TO OPERATE"

If "my" sign is a unisex/disabled toilet, maybe it was borrowed from the psychiatric ward; who else would go to the toilet, fully dressed and standing erect? :dunno:
