Yes it’s a great achievement. If they continue like this we might even consider allowing them back in. :agree: EricT
They have to hand it back after 250 years anyway, Eric. It's a bit like Hong Kong. ;)

250 years?? That's 6 years from now!!! :-O Ok, you can have Perseverance and the helicopter, but we're not delivering it...you'll have to pick it up. ;)

The pictures just keep getting better!
Are all the colours real? When I see white on blue from the Red Planet, I don't know what to believe. :dunno:

The colors are correct. You can see Perseverance's sun dial on the right which has markings on it to help calibrate the camera. B-)

Has it moved yet, or are they still in the process of testing everything and getting it set up ?

From what I've seen the rover is still being tested. Not sure when they plan to start moving it.

I'm pretty sure that I've seen at least one picture showing long tyre tracks in the dust, so I'd say it has moved.

Above is the one that I saw. Can't find any confirmation that it is genuine, though one of the others in the set appears to have a comment by a lady from the NASA team. Still, I can type anything I like and say "NASA said this". I can't find anything like them on the official photo releases, so maybe it's all fiction. :dunno:

They were probably left by some sh*t-fer-brains who’d been fly tipping. :agree: EricT

I'm confused too. Here's a link to the many photos being taken by Perseverance. https://mars.nasa.gov/mars2020/multimedia/raw-images/ Perseverance is definitely a shutterbug.
