That’s not bad at all! I thought it would be circa $80

Lovely looking aircraft, Dave. I've been watching Robert Randazzo's excellent series of tutorials on PMDG's Youtube channel, and they seem to have gone all out to make a three-man flight deck comfortably operable by one person. As soon as I've sold my old flat, a new computer will be on order, swiftly followed by MSFS and then this DC-6 ( and your Rapide of course! ).

It's really nice to fly, and the automated flight engineer can take a lot of the workload with the systems and engines, although there's still quite a lot to learn.

Edit: I seems there's a bug that will cause a CTD if you've got multiplayer enabled. I've not seen it myself, but then I have multiplayer turned off anyway.
PMDG and Asobo are working on a fix.

Just jumped into it tonight… first thought, this is a bag of spanners… after 20 minutes wrestling it….

Gust locks :wall:

It’s brilliant

Also just noticed the the FPS hunters are out already 8) - Seriously it really doesn't matter if your "only" getting 30 FPS.

I thought it was pretty good on FPS, considering, mind you, I haven't tried it in vr yet!
I did see one guy moaning and asking for a refund because he found a gap in the cockpit wall but it's in a placed that would be impossible to see unless you're crawling around behind the seats and bulkhead. 8)

I'm on the lookout for one. I'm hoping JanKees will do one. If one doesn't turn up soon I'll have a look at doing it myself.

Has anyone tried any of the Virtavia range in MSFS ? I'm thinking particularly of the Lincoln, and the B-29's internal model.
