Re: Pilot Induced Tunnel Vison
Something fishy here - was the camera mounted on an invisible chase plane ? The Red Bull aircraft rolls while the horizon stays horizontal, so the camera isn't mounted on the tail. In the brief fly-by portion, there's nothing following it so how did they get the video ? Or am I being thick ?

Gyro stabilised camera on the tail?
Re: Pilot Induced Tunnel Vison
I suspect it's a small 360 degree camera. With one of these, a full 360 degree view in all directions is continuously recorded and this allows you to select a particular viewpoint during editing. A gyro stabilised rig on a stick from the top of the tail would be pretty complex due to its bulk and weight. The 360 degree cameras weigh practically nothing.
Due to shortages and cutbacks the light at the end of the tunnel has been switched off.

As inane stunts go, this takes some beating . And yes, I meant inane and not insane

Well, I have done a hanger flight in the Hurricane without bending it in cliffs of Dover. Great fun!!!
